Well, it took lots of work & now it’s finished:
The 1st CD by Thomekk – Kleine Höhle auf dem Berg
Here you can hear a preview of all the 19 Album-Tracks. Enjoy Thomekk’s world, greets by the monster:

Hopefully you had snourfigeous fun listening to the snippets, guys ‘n girls 😉
You can find out more about the CD by reading Mello’s “Kleine Hoehle” Track comments (sorry, right now in german only) plus a “cool” Mellologe on Thomekk’s way of working things in music here (with three album-tracks for free download!)
Early unmastered versions of “Bob has gone” & “Grausamer Sommer” are still avaiable for free download there
If you like the music please order “Kleine Hoehle auf dem Berg” (50 min. total) here
Although FahrscheinGefahr (the project with female deep voiced singer Kerstin Bohlin and Thomas Kallweit on production) isn’t continued anymore (perhaps it will, but who knows),
I decided that it would be a good thing to give the world some music and infos about this.
We have a Mini-CD ready, which will be released in the next months of 2007, possibly as a free download.
So for now, please have a look at:

The original story of that:
There was a contest asking for collaboration.
So I asked Ixox for that – as I respect him as a great chansonmusic-writer.
Gracefully he accepted the collabo and wrote the whole song. 🙂
So this is the line-up:
Ixox: Composition;
Guitare, Flute, Piano, Cello, Vox;
Mona: Vox;
Thomekk: Lyrics, SteelGit-Emu, Harmonika, small vocals & piano & guitar
Here’s a great little dirty Rockn’Roll Song composed by Willy West.
I only assisted with some monster vocals and lowfi-bridge vocals here, PopMaster Oddbod did the lead voxies.
‘t was done December 2006 for a cool KVR-contest…
Be warned:
This one is slow, countrylike and kitsch!
Best would have been if Johnny Cash would have sung it, but… hm, me sang 😉
The best of all: I got a little big help from my friends S.Hush and Watto! Thanks so much, guys for the lovely additions
So I’m lucky to announce that this is the first 3continent-collab I have been part of (Europe, America, Australia)!!
Tired
thomekk: vocals, acoustic guitar
S.Hush: backing vocals, tremolo guitar, flute, strings
Watto: Piano, Rhodes
Yes, it’s true! “No more fighting” by Thomekk & Mona made it to Neil Young’s “Living with war” antiwar-protestsongs charts. This song was downloaded about 1130 times since the middle of 2006, which makes me really really proud 😉

Download “No more fighting”
This was my entry for the k-v-r contest (theme: “fight”)
Mona’s on the vocals.
No more fighting It’s folky and non-electronical
EDIT: Here’s a remix of da song reggae-stylish by Thomas Mahler (Login required!)

This is a online-collab I did together with the great singer Simon Watson (“Watto”) from Brisbane, Australia. I’m more than happy with the result 😉
“Seen was originally composed by Thomekk as a dark, brooding instrumental piece. Watto, after being asked to sing on it, was inspired to add a few things, take a few things away, add a few more things…and a collaboration was born.” (Watto)

“This is one of this year’s highlights!”

“I can hear the Radiohead influence and the Gorillaz influence and of course the thomekk influence. It’s a great track and I personally think that adding big booming drums to it would make it sound perhaps too much like some of the aforementioned acts, although it would make it a bit more commercial. I for one would pay money for this though, it’s haunting and different.”

“Genius pop. Please consider revolutionizing pop so that the bar is set this high for all future generations. I’d appreciate it.”
